Well hellow again for another trip posting this year: Hongkong-Macau Trip. Recently me and my bestie since the first time we've met in the office Egis went to Hongkong and Macau. Actually we've already planned for this trip at least from five months ago, because we need to secure the airline cost, the sooner we book the ticket the cheaper cost we get.
Our itinerary commonly same with any other first-timer-traveler to Hongkong, like Victoria Peak, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, Kennedy Town, Mongkok Markets, and others. The full itinerary summarize as below:
Day 1:
- Arriving and then check in Metropark Hotel Mongkok ( i recommend this hotel since the strategic location, near the bus stop, easy access to MTR station, and there's direct bus from and to airport in front of the hotel).
- Strolling Tsim Sha Tsui area and Victoria Dockside (where the Bruce Lee Statue located), and K11

Day 2:
- The Peak Tram - The Peak Tower - Sky Terrace, and bought some cute souvenirs
- Have some lunch at Islamic Centre Canteen (yummy dimsum!!)
- Strolling around Kennedy Town by Dimdim Tram
- Shopping-hopping (although everything seems more expensive at least from Japan)

Returned from Macau we went back to Victoria Promenade area, and visiting Hongkong Museum of Art, how I love this place so much!! I really enjoyed being in this museum for hours.

Unfortunately there was a typhoon when we arrive at Victoria Promenade, but actually we didn't really realized that was a typhoon until we reached the hotel and got announcement letter from the hotel management that there were a warning from the local goverment for the upcoming T8 Tropical Cyclone Tapah. Suddenly me and Egis got a little bit panic. We were worried if our flight which was planned the day after tomorrow will be canceled. But thanks God on the next day the local goverment issues T1 which means it was safe enough for citizen for doing their routine activities as usual, so does for the tourists.
Actually the last day before flight our itinerary was going to Ngong Ping Village by Ngong Ping 360 cable car, but because unforseen condition the typhoon warning and also when we check the cable car website they were doing the maintenance and the access was closed for a few days, so our plan was canceled. The last day, since we check the weather a little bit calm we've try to go to the Citygate Outlet for shopping yeaayyy!!!
What i love the most from this trip that i got my Vivaia sneakers dream-shoes, that i couldn't find in any other Vivaia strores in Jakarta. And also i got my Coach dream-sling bag. Of course thousand of pictures in my phone, and the never-forget memories. Byee HK, you were not that bad haha.
I hope next year there will be another overseas-girls-trip with my besties. Let's make it annual trip guys!!
